High Knob viewshed

If planning to run the annual High Knob Hellbender 10K, here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll be able to see from atop the High Knob Observation Tower. Students at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise created this interpretive guide that offers an overview of distant peaks that can be seen from the Knob, as well as how these scenic vistas relate to Southwest Virginia’s natural and human history.
